#191 Maple and Walnut Natural Wood Burl Bottle Top
This is beautiful. This gorgeous Oregon Western Maple burl wood is from the coast of Oregon. Oregon hosts a plethora of paper factories. One of the gentleman that works at one of the paper factories rescues beautiful wood burls from the shredder.
So this beautiful and gnarly wood burl bottle topper was rescued from being paper!
The bottle topper pictured below is a SAMPLE of one. Each bottle top is completely unique. Your bottle top, with its own unique personality will measure approximately 2 1/4" across and approximately 2 1/2" tall.
The wood base of the bottle topper has a ring of dark walnut wood.

#258 Vintage Doorknob Bottle Toppers
I found these lovely vintage doorknobs at a treasure shop and simply could not pass them up! The hardware on the doorknob section shows wear from years of love (see picture). They are attached to shiny chrome bottle stoppers that unscrew for easy cleanup. The stoppers are created to fit virtually any bottle and create a nice seal for freshness. I have three colors, brass, dark and chrome.

#135 Purple Heart and Maple Bottle Top
This is an exquisite gift. This hand-turned bottle top will fit in just about any bottle: wine, oil, vinegar... It is created using Curly Maple wood, Eastern Maple wood and Purple Heart wood.
The Purple Heart wood used in this piece was bought from a wonderful specialty wood shop in Sacramento, California. Purple Heart wood is native to Mexico, Central and South America.
The Eastern Maple wood used to create this piece was given to me by a local cabinet shop that was going out of business in Lompoc, California.
The Curly Maple wood used in this piece was bought from a wonderful specialty wood shop in Sacramento, California.

#198 Small Walnut and Maple wood rosette bottle topper #2
I created this beautiful wood rosette bottle topper on the lathe that I built in early 2007.
The woods used are a gorgeous walnut wood from a walnut orcharged that was cut down over 30 years ago in Sacramento and beautiful walnut wood that I rescued out of the dumpster at my local cabinet shop in Lompoc, California.
The picture below shows the bottle topper with the light maple on the outside and the dark walnut on the inside. However, it can also be created in reverse with the dark walnut on the outside and light maple on the inside. It would just reverse the pattern of light to dark to dark to light.
The wood part of the bottle topper measures approximately 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" tall.

#190 Large Oregon Western Maple Burl Bottle Top
This is a one of a kind bottle top. I created a large bottle top with a more jagged and weathered look to it. This piece measures approximately 2 3/4" wide by 2" tall.
The bottle topper shown is the exact piece you would get. There is only one of these.
