#183 Catalina Island Christmas Berry Wood Pen
The beautiful wood used in this unique pen is from the botanical gardens on Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California. While visiting on vacation, I took a jaunt up to the botanical gardens. While there, I found that they were doing their trimming work. Much to my surprise and delight they allowed me to take a few of the trimmings with me.
No trees were harmed in the creation of this lovely pen.

#251 Blue Countertop Polymer Pen
Being the scavenger seeker that I am, I decided to try to find other materials to use to create some of my pieces. I came across some lovely Corian or Corian-like counter top remnants and decided to see how Corian would turn on my lathe. To my pleasant surprise, it turned quite lovely! It gives the pen a nice weight as well.
This particular piece is a wonderful speckled blue color.
The picture is a sample, your pen will be unique. If you have any questions, please just let me know.

#152 Santa Barbara Manzanita Root Pen
This pen is truly luxurious. The grain is mottled and abundant. It is a rich reddish brown color.
The manzanita root wood used to create this pen has been through the Santa Barbara fire, washed out to the Pacific Ocean and landed up on our local Surf Beach here in Lompoc, California.
Each pen is unique because of the grain of the wood and the nature of a handcrafted wood pen. The picture is a sample, your pen will be unique. If you have any questions, please just let me know.
The ink color is black.
