#187 Hawaiian Milo Wood Fancy Pen Set

This is a very unique and interesting pen set. You can unscrew the top and bottom parts of the pen and switch out the pen ends to suit your needs. The additional tips are stored inside the back of the pen. They consist of a pen, Phillips head screwdriver, flat head screw driver, pair of tweezers and an exacto knife. So anytime you are feeling a MaGyver moment coming on, just pull out your handy dandy pen set.

The beautiful wood used in this pen set is Hawaiian Milo wood. While visiting Oahu, Hawaii, a friend of mine was trimming a tree in his yard. He graciously allowed me to rescue some of the trimmings. It came home safely packed in my suitcase.

#186 Bubinga Wood Pen and Stand

The gorgeous bubinga wood in this interesting one-of-a-kind pen and stand set was given to me by a wood-worker that was creating a custom table for a family in Santa Barbara, California. He was kind enough to sell me his scrap wood. So instead of hitting the trash can, I was able to turn it into this amazing pen and stand set.

I create the stand on my rose engine. I handcrafted my rose engine using plans from the rose engine concept from the 1500's.
