#150 Chinese Elm Wood Heart Vase
The Chinese Elm wood used in this piece was a trimming from a tree on South U Street in Lompoc, California. My daughter and her boys were driving through town one day and saw some tree trimmers. She quickly rushed home to inform me of the "gold" that lay waiting. As I approached the workers they were quickly feeding this amazing golden Chinese Elm wood into the chipper shredder to become mulch. I quickly parked and asked if I could scavenge a few pieces from their trimmings pile. They happily granted my request. So the little piece of wood was saved from pending doom to create this wood heart vase just for you. A small glass tube has been inserted in the top of the vase to hold cut of dried flowers.
It measures approximately 5" across by 4 1/2" tall.

#144 Dark Walnut Wood Vase
This beautiful and interesting dark walnut wood vase is created using a lovely piece of local wood from our hometown walnut orchard here in Lompoc. It's a stunning orchard, and I'm always happy to get a trimming from one of the walnut trees.
It measures approximately 4" tall by 2 1/4" wide. Because this wood vase is created with natural wood, it is not water proof. You may use your beautiful wood vase for dry flowers, pens, pencils or anything else that does not require water.
Because burls are so intricate and unique, each piece will be different from the next, so the picture you see is just one example of an Oregon Maple Burl Wood Vase.

This lovely redwood wood vase is the perfect height to hold dried flowers or pencils. It has lovely grain and detail.
The beautiful natural grained redwood used in this vase comes from a tree in Oakland, California. There is a gentleman in Oakland that creates redwood table tops. I talked him in to selling me his redwood scraps for my projects. They are very beautiful.

#208 Oregon Western Maple Burl Wood Vase
This beautiful and interesting Oregon western maple burl wood vase is created using a lovely Western Maple Burl wood. My daughter and her husband live in Oregon, home of the paper mill. Well...we met a gentleman who worked at one of the many paper mills that are scattered around the state of Oregon. He would meticulously go through the wood that came in each day and save the burls and other lovely pieces of wood from a fiery, mulchy, pulpy death. So this gorgeous and interesting vase could have been a piece of writing paper but instead were recycled into this gorgeous piece for your home or office.
It measures approximately 4" tall by 2 1/4" wide. Because this wood vase is created with natural wood, it is not water proof. You may use your beautiful wood vase for dry flowers, pens, pencils or anything else that does not require water.
